The Associate-Director Business Intelligence & Reporting position was transferred from NAA to coordinate Advanced Analytics solution activities across four regions. This position will focus on leading team of BI Developers that are developing advanced analytics reprots to solve business problems such as Risk to Value, Customer Churn, Service Contract efficiencies. Responsibilities: Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities. Recruit, train, develop and supervise analyst-level BI employees. Provide managerial / expert guidance on Business Intelligence (BI) skills and technologies. Gain insight from customer stories, financial data, and operational data to uncover and quantify key pain points created throughout the customer journey to drive continuous improvement in the customer experience across the organization. Build strong partnerships and breadth of knowledge across multiple functions, regional locations, and key stakeholders including Supply Chain, New Equipment, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Service. Provide functional and technical expertise and understand the business needs and objectives to guide analytics activities across the organization Partner with Global Data & Analytics team in the design, development and delivery of analytics solutions and insights to ensure business needs and data are incorporated and in line with overall Enterprise strategic direction Oversee advanced analytics projects to extract, manage, and analyze customer data from multiple data sources and locations to drive business insights and operational efficiencies . Apply statistics and data modeling to gain actionable business insights and boost sales and service productivity and revenue generation . Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders within financial, sales, service, marketing and product teams. Communicate and track key performance metrics across departments. Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders. Keep abreast of industry best practices and policies. Exhibit strong teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Help executives understand and scale the risks which their teams are running, and similarly understand the best opportunities for fastest & most efficient improvement Experience with differening Reporting tools including familiarity with the advantages and disadvantages of each. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering , Computer Science or related Analytics fields 4+ years’ experience in developing complex advanced analytics solutions to solve business problems. Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources. Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries. Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units. Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities. Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills. Strong programming skills with querying languages: SQL, Python, R, SAS, etc. Experience with data visualization tools: Qlik , Tableau, Power BI C, C++, JAVA, or other programming languages 30% Travel United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
